That’s right, we’re finishing up the year with Tuesday Nights for the Industry every Tuesday in December! 2020 has been a real bust, so we figured we’d close it out with a bang, and help out our friends in the beverage industry along the way.
Yet again, every Tuesday night we will offer a special menu consisting of a few $8 approachable classic cocktails highlighting the spirit of the week, as well as a $6 boilermaker with a shot of the spirit and a pairing of draft beer. For each drink sold from the menu, $1 will go towards the staff of a local bar that has been shut down during coronavirus pandemic-related state closures. Stay tuned for our local bar beneficiary for the month of December!
Our featured spirits for December are as follows:
December 1, 2020 – Mi Campo
This high-end tequila is made with pure blue agave from Jalisco that’s fermented among fragrant local citrus trees then aged in oak wine barrels, resulting in a richer, smoother tequila. Its quality is good enough to drink on its own—shots anyone?—or in a cocktail.
December 8, 2020 – Lonerider Spirits
The “drink for outlaws”, Lonerider’s bourbon whiskey is a high rye bourbon that’s mellowed out with by a sherry cask finish. Notes of cinnamon, clove, and toffee hit the nose, while leather, toasted oak, and pepper notes provide a robust finish that will leave you wanting more.
December 15, 2020 – Old Forester
Old Forester celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. Known as the first bottled bourbon, Old Forester is the only bourbon continuously distilled by the founding family before, during, and after Prohibition. Its rich, full flavor delivers the quintessential bourbon drinking experience neat, on the rocks, or in a classic cocktail.
December 22, 2020 – Social House Vodka
Made in Kinston, North Carolina, Social House is a gluten-free spirit distilled from 100 percent corn. The vodka is smooth, slightly thick, and pleasantly warm with just a hint of sweetness that makes it excellent in any cocktail.
