Since many bars in Raleigh and throughout the country are still unfortunately not able to open due to COVID-19 guidelines, we are continuing our Tuesdays for the Industry special into November!
To remind y’all, every Tuesday night we offer a special menu consisting of a few $8 approachable classic cocktails highlighting a featured spirit of the week, as well as a $6 boilermaker with a shot of the spirit and a pairing of draft beer. For each drink sold from the menu, $1 will go towards the staff of a local bar that has been shut down during coronavirus pandemic-related state closures.
This month, all proceeds will be going towards the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG), a national charitable foundation that provides bartenders with valuable education, training, and opportunities to network inside the hospitality industry. Our featured spirits for November are as follows:
November 3 – Jack Daniel’s Rye
Jack Daniel’s new rye whiskey is crafted with a 70 percent rye grain bill, natural spring water from their own Cave Spring Hollow, and Jack’s time-honored charcoal mellowing process. It’s spicy, yet smooth, and undeniably Jack Daniel’s.
November 10 – Hennessy
Hennessy Cognac is one of the most beloved and sophisticated liquors in the world. They make their cognac from Ugni White grapes harvested only once a year that then undergo a time-honored distillation, maturation, selection, and blending process that ultimately delivers the perfect sip every time.
November 17 – Maker’s Mark
Just like they did in 1953, Maker’s Mark hand-rotates every barrel and hand-dips every single one of their bottles. Their bourbon—which is made from soft red winter wheat—offers something smooth and full-flavored to sip neat or something to use in your favorite cocktail.
November 24 – Conniption Gin
Durham Distillery’s Conniption Gin is favored by bartenders both in the Triangle and beyond. They combine time-honored gin-making traditions with techniques borrowed from modern chemistry to produce a delicious product that’s bright, aromatic, smooth, and powerful.
